Rene Marie Russo was an American film director, actor as well as a supermodel. Rose won with a technical knockout that lasted under three minutes Round One. Rose was also awarded Fighter Of The Night and set a record as it was the first time that a woman had ever competed at a championship level within a major promotion organisation worldwide. Namajunas had a number of wins following this fight and was awarded Performance Of The Night by UFC in her fights against Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
